5/1/04 – Enhancements to our Credit Card Services

The CohesIS2000 Automatic On-line Credit Card Processing has been enhanced by adding Level 2 & Level 3 P-Card support, as well as CVV2 support for all credit cards. The addition of Level 2 & 3 P-Card support enables you to provide your customers with invoice header data as well as their orders’ line item detail information directly on their Credit Card statement, and is a requirement for many larger corporate merchandising programs. The CVV2 enhancement provides you with an increased security feature to reduce your processing risk by requiring a code that is physically printed on the Credit Card, thus ensuring that the shopper actually has the card, and not just the credit card number. CVV2 is an authentication scheme established by credit card companies to further efforts towards reducing fraud, particularly for E-Commerce transactions.

4/19/04 – Session Tracking Enhancement within Ariba Integration

The CohesIS2000 Business Management System has been enhanced to add the Ariba Session ID to all Order Acknowledgement E-mails. This improvement enhances the tracking interaction within the Ariba network. This change is seamless and will be unnoticeable to the end user but will increase the ability and efficiency with which you can service your customer regarding questions or issues involving the Ariba network.


4/12/04 – Private Artwork Library/Documentation

The CohesIS2000 E-Commerce Publisher has been enhanced to allow you to upload artwork to your own private library. By simply changing an option in the Advanced Section of the E-Commerce Publisher you can add an artwork upload option to the check-out cart. This art upload section allows you to select art from your own personal library or browse your desktop for artwork to upload. Once you choose the image that you need and submit your order, a copy of the artwork is attached to the order and the catalogue administrator receives an email with the artwork attached as well. The art that you have designated for the order is clearly noted in the Order Acknowledgement, Order Notification and the Authorization Request e-mails.

3/5/04 – Service Award Level Auto Calculation

Awards/Recognition Module of the CohesIS2000 Business Management System has been enhanced. This module can now automatically calculate an employee’s Service Award Level based on their trigger or hire date. This functionality will reduce any miscalculations for award dates as well as save time keying in your contacts.


2/27/04 – Component Item Usage Report

The Reports area of the CohesIS2000 Business Management System has been enhanced to include a Component Item Usage Report. This report helps you with your inventory management needs for component items by tracking the items on open and closed invoices by program and outputs the quarterly and year-to-date total quantities. This report offers multiple formats to maximize your results by allowing you to sort by item and vendor as well displaying your peak usage quantities.

02/12/04 – UPS WorldShip/StarShip Enabled for Multiple Shipping Stations

The CohesIS2000 Business Management System has been modified to enable multiple ports access to UPS WorldShip and StarShip. This will allow your company the ability to expand your shipping department by adding more shipping stations. This will provide an increased flexibility as well as facilitating quicker more efficient shipping.

By using this easy function, your users can quickly translate your websites into their language of choice. For those who work with International Customers this option allows you to offer this tool to your sites for easy language translation. 01/27/04 – Award Point Detail Tracking Enabled

The Awards/Recognition system provides everything required to track and manage the point or time based Employee Award Programs for your client (i.e. safety programs, length of service awards, and employee recognition awards). It is fully integrated with order entry and customer service. Implementation takes less than an hour.

If you are seeking an opportunity in Recognition Awards or are looking for ways to enhance your service to your clients, this system is for you.

a. Import Employee lists from a disc provided by your client.
b. Track information such as date of hire, date of last accident, etc...
c. Establish up to 15 award levels for each awards program -
    (i,e, 1yr, 3yrs, 5yrs, 1000pts, 2500pts, 5000pts.)
d. Full reporting and tracking of employee eligibility and redemption status.


Supports Budgeting and Budget depletion seamlessly within order processing. Budgets are established at the Dealer/Store/Employee and "Spent" during order entry. This enhances the existing functionality, which managed award eligibility on either a Time or Point basis.
Implement our ACSC- 24 hour Automated Customer Service Center to allow your clients' employees to select or order their award, check shipping status, eligibility, etc.. On a 24 hour basis!

01/19/04 – QCS E-Commerce Facelift and Enhancements

As part of our continuous improvement program, we are currently designing a major revision of our E-Commerce system. This update will enhance both design and functionality. Our main areas of focus are the design, layout and format of the default templates for the E-Commerce websites that our system produces, as well as the functionality and user-friendliness of the E-Commerce Publisher used to create them. Our objective is to help your company bring professional-looking, easy-to-use E-Commerce solutions to your clients that deliver the functionality they require as well as raise the bar on your competition.

01/15/04 – Order Prioritization Function Enabled

The CohesIS2000 Business Management System has been enhanced to tie order prioritization directly from the main customer file as well as allow the option to manage your back orders more efficiently. In customer maintenance there is a new option “X” for extended info. Selecting this option brings up a window in which you can enter an order priority between 1 and 99 (1 being the highest and 99 being the lowest). Any customers that have not had a priority entered are considered the lowest priority (below 99).

When running the Open Order Backorder Report, there is now an option to use order prioritization. If answered yes, then the report will be sorted first by priority then by order number allowing you to manage your backorders more efficiently.

01/06/04 – Fax Acknowledgement to Salesman

The CohesIS2000 Business management System has been modified to allow automatic faxing of order acknowledgements to the corresponding salesman. This new improvement has been added to the faxing options in order entry so the CSRs can now fax the order acknowledgement to the customer and the salesman at the same time.

This function is especially beneficial to companies with large outside sales forces because it automatically informs the salesman when their orders are placed. This will enhance the efficiency of the sales process and will significantly decrease the amount of time the salesman spends researching and tracking their orders.



As a courtesy service to our clients, we offer FREE re-training on CohesIS2000 at our office in Akron, OH.  These classes are meant to train your new employees, as well as brush up experienced users and show them the latest features of CohesIS.

 The classes are held Monday-Thursday on the second week of each month. Registration is required as space is limited.
