Reset Item On Order & Allocated Quantities is used to reconcile the on order and allocated quantity display to the actual on order and allocated quantities.  This utility causes the system to go out and read all open orders in the system.  The on order and allocated quantity displays are then corrected, if the audit and update option is selected.

The report that prints will show the item number and description, on order current and actual quantities, and allocated current and actual quantities.  If the report option selected was audit only, no changes were made in the system.

To change the on order and allocated quantities to actual from current, choose the audit and update report option.  This utility make no G/L entries, only resets inventory displays

The print option enables the system to print the entire list of items in the program ID entered, whether changes are to occur or not, or only those items that are to be changed.

Rest On Order and Allocated Quantities should be set at a fairly high security level.
