Prospective Customer Maintenance program contains all information pertinent to prospects that may later be converted to the customer file. This program is used to set up prospects and to maintain data for label printing and mailings.

This program is exactly the same program as found on the P/M menu under Prospective Customer Maintenance.

The input screens in this program are exactly like those found in Customer Master File Maintenance on the CFM menu.  For more information in the input screens for Prospective File Maintenance, refer to the document titled Customer Master File Maintenance.

The numbering scheme for Prospective Customer Maintenance should mirror the scheme for customers.  A prospect may be converted to a customer by using Convert Prospect to Customer on the P/M menu.  If the schemes are identical, no further maintenance to the prospect number is required to convert to a customer number.
