Order Completion Utility enables an order that has not been vouched and/or billed complete to be sent to history.  The order is not deleted. 

EXAMPLE: If an order was entered for 50 hats.  Of the 50 ordered, 49 are received.  One hat is on backorder.  The vendor acknowledges the order but states that they are not going to send the one hat.  This order can be sent to history for future reference by using this option.

Order completion utility works by setting a flag on the order that tells the system that the order is completed.  The next order invoice register, A/P or A/R, that is run will select this flag and send the order to history.  The order invoice register does not have to be completed by the operator using order completion utility.  Anyone printing and updating an order invoice register will send the order to history.

NOTE: This option should be set at a fairly high security level.
