The Components by Item Listing report enables you to list all component items and the primary items they relate to.  It includes the program, discontinued flag, item status code, on hand, on order, and allocated quantities.  It also compares (at the component level) YTD quantity sold and sales volume to LY quantity sold and sales figures. 

Listing Setup

Program ID.  Enter the program ID for the components to list.  If the program ID is not known, enter "?" to display the Active Programs window.  Select the program to list by entering the sequence number to the left of the program ID.

Starting Component #.   The prompt will read Enter Starting Component #, Spacebar=Beginning, F4=End.  Enter the starting component to list.  If all components are to list, enter Spacebar. 

Ending Component #.   Enter the ending component to list.  If all components are to list, enter Spacebar . 

Include Discontinued.   If discontinued items that are being used as components are to be listed, enter "Y".  If discontinued items used as components are not to be listed, enter "N".  At this point the system will ask if the selections are correct.  If correct, enter "Y".  If not, enter "N" and reenter the setups.

The listing provided will show:

Component and Description. 

Item and Description.  This is the item that is using the component.

Prog.  The program the item using the description is under.

DF.  Discontinued (Y/N)

SC.  Status code.

On Hand quantities .

On Order and Allocated quantities.

YTD Qty.  YTD purchases.

YTD Sales.

LYR Qty and Sales.  Last year's purchases and sales.
